- I'm just a working stiff trying to get ahead. I enjoy vacationing but I must admit I don't take advantage of all the time I get to take vacaction. This is one of the reasons I purchased a Marriott Vacation Club. The thought was that it would force my family and I to hit the road at least once a year for a week's vacation. I'm married and have two kids. We love to spend time together. Growing up, my family never vacationed - I mean never. An occassional day trip to the beach. No Disney, no Carribean. I didn't fly until I was an adult. Bottomline, I can afford a quality vacation every year. I'm lucky enough to have ample vacation time to use. All I'm after is an easy way to vacation that let's me take advantage of both.
